C’s sleep issues have spilled into this week and will probably continue for what feels like the next 18 years. I admit that I was spoiled her first six months of life with her often giving me 6+ hours of sleep some nights….bliss.
In her defense, yesterday she cut her first tooth AND started to crawl. That’s some major mental and physical stress right there. Hopefully she can give us a few nights of fewer (or at least not as long) interruptions.
I did make some calcium tea that worked well for B, so we’re hoping it helps her as well. I was giving her catnip tea to help her sleep and stopped for whatever reason, but we’ll be trying that again since it seemed to help before….maybe? I hope? 🙂 I’m also trying to keep in mind the wonder weeks. Really, anything that just helps us all get through this and reminds me that all of it, including C’s smallness, is very temporary. Especially at 3 am when it takes me two hours to get her back to sleep. 😐
In better news, this week marks the beginning of my favorite month of the year! Football! New shows (and the return of old shows!)! Cooler weather! Leaves changing! Birthdays! Love it!
I’m going to include links to the recipes that are available online, otherwise I’ll include links to the resource where I got the recipe. Here’s this week:
- Monday – Swedish meatballs (skipping the gravy as I’m out of stock), garlic cauliflower “mashed potatoes”
- Tuesday – roast chicken, roasted beets, salad with basic dressing
- Wednesday – leek frittata, sautéed spinach
- Thursday – bratwurst with kale, cheesy grain-free biscuits (BTAB)
- Friday – salmon cakes, roasted carrots with parsley butter
- Saturday – Waldorf chicken salad
- Sunday – out
I also use Plan to Eat to keep track of recipes, make my meal plan, and generate grocery lists. It’s a fantastic little tool and I think meal planning would be a LOT more work without it!
Linked on Menu Plan Monday.
