    1. Now I see that that book isn’t the right one at all! I hope someone scans it eventually . . .

      1. Oh rats! I have actually been especially interested in that one. I’ve been surprised at how many books published back then share titles and subject matter. It makes the searches challenging at times!

I have that exact Bullfinch book but I recommend getting one of the illustrated Age of Fable books. They are so much easier to hand to your Form 2 child and in my opinion more enjoyable! I loved reading this post! My son has one more year in Form 2! It’s gone by so fast!

    1. I will keep that in mind about Age of Fable – thank you for the recommendation!

How neat to have all of these in one place. Thank you for compiling them! Here’s some additional links if you want to add them:

The Changing Year – Charlotte Mason Poetry has transcribed the original book. Links to each chapter can be found here: http://charlottemasonpoetry.org/category/the-changing-year/

The Teaching of Mathematics to Young Children – I don’t believe the document you linked to is downloadable, but this transcription at Charlotte Mason Poetry is: http://charlottemasonpoetry.org/the-teaching-of-mathematics-to-young-children/

Brittney McGann located a copy of Cardboard Modelling and brought it back in print. You can purchase it here: https://www.amazon.com/Cardboard-Modelling-Working-Drawings-Instructions/dp/0578488221/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=cardboard+modelling&qid=1624479316&s=books&sr=1-1

    1. Thank you so much for these links, Dawn! This is very helpful, especially The Changing Year as I somehow missed those posts on CMP. The math article is actually downloadable from HathiTrust, but I did also link to the CMP article. And I actually found Brittney’s book when I was doing research, but it somehow didn’t make it into the post – thank you for the reminder!

      1. Yes, I was just going to say that I found them on Charlotte Mason Poetry! Does anyone know if there is a commercial database that has indexed or scanned the Parent’s Review? I was wondering where people are getting these articles to transcibe. Do they have access to the physical volumes?
