Life feels a little chaotic right now. Saturday’s event was a little bit of a disappointment for me. Our last event was just so, so successful and fun and beautiful and elegant and wonderful that I think I expected the same for this event, even though the venue wasn’t the same (the beautiful old mansion we had it in last time has since closed) as well as other things. At the last event we raised just under $1400 and this one we were just under $600, which is still not a bad sum and certainly better than nothing. But the straight-A student in me wanted this event to be twice as successful as the last one. I think I was just a little let-down.
But life moves on.
I want to write more here but I find my time feels stretched thin these days with the planning that went into the Valentine event and other task force responsibilities, E traveling quite a bit, needing to take some photos for a friend, various obligations to other friends, keeping my house at least sort of in a state that resembles being clean, and taking care of B who seems to think the early morning hours of 2 to 5 are for being awake. So posts may be few and far between.
And that’s okay. 🙂
(Which is something I say more for me than for you.)
If you do miss me, I have been posting on my Facebook page a little more often lately and plan to do so more in the future. If you’re into that sort of thing
Hope you all are having a lovely Valentine’s Day! ♥
