This week marks the first week I’ll be attempting to cook one meal from the Nourishing Traditions week night menu suggestions (found on the last page of the book). All of these actually consist for four parts of the meal, but I’m going to pat myself on the back if I manage to make the main dish and one side dish. Anything beyond that earns me super star status. 🙂
I’m going to include links to the recipes that are available online, otherwise I’ll include links to the resource where I got the recipe. Here’s this week:
- Monday – Spanish omelet, braised spinach (from the old Nourished Kitchen meal plans)
- Tuesday – baked whitefish (NT), sugar snap peas (NT)
- Wednesday – savory baked chicken legs ([bb]), roasted beets and carrots (from the old Nourished Kitchen meal plans)
- Thursday – taco salad
- Friday – Organic Dish
- Saturday – country-fried steak bites (from the old Nourished Kitchen meal plans), rosemary potatoes (NT)
- Sunday – out
You can see my master list of recipes that are currently in rotation here, a list of places where I buy my food here, and a guide for buying kitchen equipment here. I also use Plan to Eat to keep track of recipes, make my meal plan, and generate grocery lists. It’s a fantastic little tool and I think meal planning would be a LOT more work without it!
