Simple Tomato Soup

strained or crushed tomatoes

onion powder

maple syrup
or to taste

chicken stock
if you don't have that much, you can supplement with water - be sure to taste as you add to make sure it's not too thinned

salt
Instructions
Melt the butter in a saucepan.
Add the tomatoes, onion powder, and maple syrup and cook for 5 to 10 minutes.
Stir in the chicken stock and salt.
Simmer for about 5 minutes.
