Happy summer, Patreon friends! We’re in the throes of it here, and I am soaking up every minute before we dive into school again later next month! Last month, my kids were at a horse camp that we attend every year, and I was a mom volunteer. The camp is mainly run by teens who take three months to plan and train just for these two weeks of the summer, and they are all fantastic role models to the younger kids who attend. One thing I noticed about many of them is that they were always quick to greet and smile at anyone they passed while we did our various tasks on the ranch. Even when temperatures were in the 90s, and we had smoke from a control burn in our eyes, they all had such good attitudes, which was very inspiring. This month’s quote comes from Mother Teresa and goes along with that: “We shall never know all the good that a simple smile can do.”
