Welcome to September, Patrons! I know many of us have either recently started our school year or will be starting this month, so I thought I might go back to another of my favorite Charlotte Mason quotes for our school day: “Do not let the endless succession of small things crowd great ideals out of sight and out of mind.” (from ‘The Story of Charlotte Mason’ by Essex Cholmondeley) I know it’s easy for me to get so caught up in the managing of our day that I lose sight of what the purpose of my children’s education is, which is to give them a love of learning. I hope you also find it inspiring!

Along with the monthly quote, calendars, habit tracker, and bookmark, I made another printable to go along with the start of the school year. I’ve been looking for ideas to make a checklist for my Form II student so he can keep track of his weekly assignments, but I wasn’t sure how it would look. I know that some people like to combine chore charts with school assignments, so for this month’s extra printable, I edited the chore chart I made last year and added a section for weekly school assignments. I also added another printable “Weekly Assignments” chart that does not include the chore portion and is just for school.
