  1. Reb – I definitely did not know that about you (your story) and I read with the fascination of someone who has never experienced anything like that. I grew up with a mom and dad who are still married to this day, and as such I have no point of reference for stories like yours. But I am oh-so-grateful to you for telling your story, so that I can know what that might be like just a tiny bit, and so that I can see my own life and my own daughter with fresh eyes. I am so grateful to have a daughter… and even though I have my mother in my life, I feel inadequate still. It feels somehow different than raising my boys… it’s special and sacred and I am terrified/blown away at the prospect of all that it could be, and the future we have. I’m rambling… but I just wanted to say that I so loved this post, and I’m really glad you shared it. Thank-you. xo.
