I wanted to tell you how much your blog has encouraged me and given me beautiful and some times hard things to think on and learn from. Also, your blog has opened my eyes to resources I was not aware of. Thank you! My children and I loved your Monet picture study!

I do have a question, how do you homeschool your children separately? That is, AO has different levels for different ages that includes different history, etc. I was going to use AO BUT I couldn’t figure out how to do it unless I kept everyone on the same level. Just curious.

I am slowing reading Charlotte Mason’s books and I just started, “Parents and Children”.

I LOVED the poem and pictures at the beginning of your post!

    1. Thank you for your sweet comment, Rebekah! I’m so glad to hear that the site has been helpful. 🙂 Sometimes I feel like all I’m doing is babbling here, but I know I have learned so much from others sharing their homeschooling journeys and my hope is that my little corner of the internet does the same for others. And I’m so glad to hear you liked the Monet picture study! I enjoyed putting that together. 🙂

I haven’t actually had to teach two children using AO just yet. My daughter just finished her kindergarten year and will be starting Year 1 this fall. When I was doing kindergarten with her, I really just alternated their subjects. So there were times when I was working with my son and times when I was working with her and the other child would find something else do do during that time. Sometimes it worked out that my son had some kind of activity that didn’t require me (eg. drawing or brushdrawing) so I could read with her then as well. I’m planning to just try different things this fall to see what works best for us!
