Charlotte Mason Printable Quotes

I’ve always had a thing for good quotes. Back in 2000, when I had time to work on such things, I used to actually have an entire quotes section on my website that was a sort of collection of all the sayings I had heard and loved over the years (all twenty of them 🙂 ). Then later, when I was working behind the scenes at Keeper of the Home, one of my jobs was creating quote images for the weekend links posts each week.

About a month ago, I quietly added a shop section to the website. Originally, it was only going to be for the Kindergarten Curriculum. However, around that same time, I decided to make a few Charlotte Mason quote prints to hang in our homeschool area and after getting some positive feedback on Instagram, I thought I might also make them available to others by posting them here and on Etsy.

I’ve mostly been sticking to two of her most popular quotes, including her motto – “I am. I can. I ought. I will.” – and number five of her 20 principles, which I think summarizes her philosophy nicely – “Education is an atmosphere, a discipline, a life.” But Dawn Duran, a fellow CM mom who has been incredibly supportive in this endeavor, recommended a few more, so I’ve been working on those as well.

I tried to price them reasonably so as to keep them very affordable. Most printable quotes of this nature are in the $5 range, but I put mine a little lower at $3 per print as I realize that many CM moms try to be as frugal as possible. 🙂 I do also plan to offer some free ones as well as giveaways at various times as well!

My hope is to create at least one per week and I’d like to expand to more Charlotte Mason quotes as well as other ones that I have found to be personally inspiring. I’m always open to suggestions, though, so if you like one of the designs but not necessarily the quote, please feel free to contact me!
